CCCDA Funding

In accordance with the Calhoun County Emergency Telephone Service District Final Plan (Section VI - Fiscal Considerations, Subsection - Operational Funding; fourth paragraph) the CCCDA Governing Board of Directors has implemented a Call for Service Fee Formula.

The alternative funding mechanism is a combination of the current $.60 local 9-1-1 surcharge and a formula which divides the revenue to be generated by previous “Calls for Service” by each municipality (City, Township, or Village).  Each City, Village, Township, and the County of Calhoun will receive a quarterly invoice from CCCDA for 25% of their annual dispatch service fee as determined by the Call for Service formula.  This fair and equitable funding mechanism will take effect July 1, 2013.

The following documents provide guidelines for implementing the Call for Service Formula:

  • Municipal Percentages - April '20 - March '21
  • Formula Stats - 2017, 2018, & 2019
Non-emergency phone: 269-781-0911

If you have a general emergency, please contact
us by dialing 9-1-1 on your telephone.
